Landmark Exhibition Centre.

On September 12^th the Heritage Group visited the Imperial War Museum at Duxford to view the new Airspace Exhibition Centre. The Centre celebrates British and Commonwealth aviation from the earliest days and has a stunning array of aircraft.

Avro aircraft are well represented and include the Anson, Lancaster, York, Vulcan and Avro Canada CF100.

Woodford’s Stamp of Approval

In July the Avro heritage group hosted the launch of six new stamps, each celebrating the spectacular, world of air displays.

The stamps featured two aeroplanes built at Woodford – the Avro Vulcan and 504 biplane.
